VOTE to 'Anuradha Koirala'
Five months back, we were getting our voting act together to help nominate Anuradha Koirala for the second level of CNN Heroes- an annual television special created by CNN. The award honours individuals who have made exemplary contributions to help others. And all the effort that was put in to support her was not in vain! The executive director of Maiti Nepal has been selected by Blue Ribbon Panel as one of the top 10 finalists!
Anuradha Koirala is a symbol of courage, compassion and inspiration for everything she has done to young girls and women of our society- saving them from falling victim to any kind of wrongdoings and she truly deserves the honour which will give her a chance to set out an example of selflessness to the whole world. And it is not only a matter of individual but national pride as well. For all the things she’s given to our society, it is high time we give back to her.
